Caramel Apple Spider

Ingredients

  • 6 Apples
  • 1 bag Make’n Mold Milk Chocolate Flavored Candy Wafers
  • 2oz Make’n Mold Vanilla Flavored Candy Wafers
  • 1 Tub Make’n Mold Microwaveable Caramel

Optional

  • Bat Sprinkles (Or, other Halloween inspired decorations)

Kitchenware

  • Make’n Mold Apple Sticks
  • 2 Piping Bags
  • 2 Wax Paper Sheets

Directions

Step 1 Clean the apples, dry, then dip each apple in melted caramel. Let caramel dipped apples set on wax paper.
Step 2 Once set, dip each apple in Milk Chocolate Flavored Candy Wafers, leaving a bit of caramel visible. Let the candy dipped apples set on wax paper.
Step 3 On a separate wax paper sheet, pipe melted Milk Chocolate Flavored Candy Wafers into a V shape about 2-3 inches tall. You will need eight legs for each spider apple. Optionally, decorate each in bat sprinkles and let set.
Step 4 Pipe on eyes and mouth using a second piping bag filled with melted Vanilla Flavored Candy Wafers. Drizzle the top of the apple in a spider web pattern.
Step 5 Insert a stick into the top of each apple.
Step 6 Once the candy spider legs have set, you can attach to each apple using the Milk Chocolate Flavored Candy Wafer filled piping bag. The candy with act as a glue, you may have to hold each leg against the apple for a moment will the candy hardens slightly.
