Introduce these adorable baby chick cake pops at your Easter celebration. We’ve taken the irresistible taste of a cake pop, and mixed it with tasty coconut flakes and some Easter fun.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Yellow Vanilla Flavored Make
- 8oz Orange Vanilla Flavored Make
- 4oz Light Blue Vanilla Flavored Make
- 12oz Coconut Flakes
- Box of Cake Mix (Or a Store-bought Cake)
- Yellow Food Dye
Kitchenware
- 15-20 Make'n Mold 6
- Make'n Mold Decorator Squeeze Bottles (Or a Piping Bag)
Directions
Prepare the Cake Pops

Step 1

Bake a boxed cake and let cool, or purchase pre-made from store. |

Break the cake into pieces and put into a bowl using your hands to mash up the cake into crumbs. Add |  |

Melt the Yellow Candy Wafers in a tall microwaveable safe drinking glass according to package instructions. Dip the tip of each Make |

Place the tray in the freezer to chill for at least 20 minutes. |
Decorate

While cake balls are in the freezer, place flaked coconut with yellow food dye into a bag and shake. |  |

Re-melt the yellow candy wafers, carefully dip the cake pop into the melted candy wafers, let excess drip off into glass, then dip the wet cake pop into the bag of yellow coconut. |  |

Let cake pops set standing up (use a piece of Styrofoam, a colander, or a grater to hold the cake pops). |  |

Cut an orange candy wafer in half, then in half again and attach to cake pop with a dab of melted candy wafer for the chicks feet. |  |

Use the decorating bottles with melted orange and light blue candy wafers to draw on the chicks face. |
