Matzo Almond Toffee Bark

Ingredients

  • 10oz Make’n Mold Dark or Milk Chocolate Flavored Candy Wafers
  • 4-5 Matzo Crackers
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Almonds, Toasted
  • 1 Pinch of Sea Salt

Kitchenware

  • Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper
  • Spatula
  • Medium Saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Spoon
  • Microwave-safe Bowl

Directions

Step 1 Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and line crackers in baking sheet and set aside.
Step 2 Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 3 Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat and add brown sugar. Whisk to combine and bring to low boil. Simmer for a few minutes, whisking constantly, till the mixture is thickened.
Step 4 Immediately pour caramel mixture onto Matzo and spread with spatula to cover completely. Bake 8 minutes.
Step 5 Melt candy wafers in microwave safe bowl according to package instructions.
Step 6 Remove pan from oven and spread wafers to cover completely.
Step 7 Sprinkle on toasted sliced almonds and let cool, then refrigerate to let cool completely. Approximately 10-15 minutes.
Step 8 Break apart and enjoy!
