Mustache Cookie Pops by Bakerella

Serves 12

Ingredients

  • 12oz Bakerella Bright Green Candy Wafers
  • 6oz Bakerella Chocolate Fudge Candy Wafers
  • 12 Sandwhich Cookies

Kitchenware

  • 12 Bakerella Pop Sticks
  • Bakerella Playful Shapes Candy Mold
  • Bakerella Microwave-safe Pink Pastry Bag (Or, Squeeze Bottle)
  • Wax Paper
  • Styrofoam Block

Directions

Step 1 Melt the green candy wafers in a microwave-safe plastic bowl, following the instructions on the package. The coating should be about 3-4 inches deep for easier dipping.
Step 2 Insert a pop stick into each sandwich cookie and dip into melted green candy wafers. Gently tap off any excess and place in a Styrofoam block to dry.
Step 3 Place chocolate fudge candy wafers in a microwave-safe pastry bag. Twist the end of the bag to secure and then fold under the bag. Heat in the microwave until melted, following instructions on the package. Snip the tip end of the pastry bag and fill mustache in playful shapes candy mold with melted wafers. Place in the refrigerator for several minutes until set.

Remove and repeat until you have 12 mustaches. Place on wax paper.
Step 4 Dot chocolate fudge coating on the back of each mustache and attach to the front of each cookie pop. Hold in place for a couple of seconds until set and let dry in Styrofoam block.
Step 5 Use other playful shapes to decorate your cookies, like hearts, glasses, bows and crowns.
