Ingredients

  • 1 bag Make'n Mold Dark Chocolate Flavored Candy Wafers
  • Your Favorite Sugar Cookie Recipe

Kitchenware

  • Rolling Pin
  • Knife
  • Wax Paper Lined Cookie Sheet

Decoration

  • String
  • White Paper
  • Glue

Directions

Step 1 Make your favorite sugar cookie recipe and roll out to 1/4 inch thick.
Step 2 Use your knife and cut little tea bag shapes out, about 1 1/2 inches tall x 1 inch wide
Step 3 Lay out the cookies on your wax paper lined cookie sheet leaving space between each. Put in the refrigerator for a 1/2 hour to firm.
Step 4 Set oven to 350° F. Bake approximately 14 minutes total, taking them out when the edges are golden brown. Let cool.
Step 5 In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy wafers according to package instructions. Dip the bottom third of each cookie in the melted wafers. Shake off any excess candy and set aside. Repeat until cookies have been dipped.
Step 6 Once set, use a knife to carefully scrape out a small hole at the top of each cookie for the string to go through.
Step 7 Cut a bunch of 1 inch x 1 inch in squares out of the white paper. On half, draw a heart. Glue the string between a blank square and a decorated square creating the tea bag string. The string should be about 4 inches long.
Step 8 Thread the string through the hole in the top of the cookie and tie it off. Repeat for all cookies.
