This simple Macaron Pop project will add a bouquet of color to the dessert table. Modeled after French Macarons, our Macaron Pops only requires candy wafers and lollipop sticks.

Ingredients

  • 24 Candy Wafers (Colors of your choice)
  • 2oz White Vanilla Flavored Candy Wafers
  • 12 Make'n Mold Lollipop Sticks (4.5)

Directions

Step 1 Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Take each of your 24 candy wafers and, using the back of your thumb, gently rub the top of the wafer to create a smooth, flat surface. This makes it look more like a French Macaron.
Step 2 Place 12 of the candy wafers upside-down and side by side on the baking pan.
Step 3 Place the White Vanilla Flavored Candy Wafers in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds at half power or on defrost setting. Stir. Wafers will not change shape while melting unless stirred. Repeat until wafers are completely melted.
Step 4 Pour melted wafers into a squeeze bottle. Squeeze a small amount of melted candy onto the back of each of the 12 candy wafers. The melted candy should cover the back of the colored wafer almost to the edge.
Step 5 Working quickly, lay your pop sticks into the melted candy about halfway through the circle. Twist the pop stick to coat it in the melted candy and then gently place another wafer on top like a sandwich. Repeat until you have made all 12 macaron pops.
Step 6 You will know your macaron pop is set when the white wafer center is hard and you can pick it up like a lollipop.
