  • 1 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 cups Pecans
  • 3/4 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Brandy or Vanilla
  • 12oz Make’n Mold Milk Chocolate Flavored Candy Wafers


  • Sauce Pan
  • Sheet Pan
  • Silpat (Or, waxpaper)
  • Spoon
  • Candy Thermometer
  • Baking Rack


Step 1 Put the sugar, brown sugar, heavy cream, salt and baking soda in the sauce pan at medium heat. Cook until it reaches 235 degrees on the candy thermometer, about twenty minutes.
Step 2 Once it reaches 235 degrees, immediately add in the butter and your vanilla or brandy, then your pecans. Quickly, mix well and spoon onto the silpat or wax-paper covered sheet pan. Refrigerate and let cool.
Step 3 Take the pralines out of the refrigerator and set them about a 1/2 inch apart on the baking rack.
Step 4 In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy wafers according to package instructions. Using a spoon, carefully pour melted candy wafer over each praline making sure to coat the entire praline.
Step 5 Tap off and remove them from the rack setting them on a baking sheet and putting them back in the refrigerator to set before serving.
